Description of Job: 
Based in Monrovia with regular travel to other field locations. Job purpose: Overall coordination of cash transfers through mobile phone, Eco-Bank or direct distribution. Responsible to: Head of Project and Project Coordinator Main Responsibilities:  Coordinate cash transfers with the County authorities and implementing partners  Ensure that cash transfers take place properly and on time  Ensure that Welthungerhilfe’s cash transfer activities are properly shared with relevant working groups and cluster meetings  Provide technical support to the M&E, other officers and other staff as appropriate  Work closely together with the M&E and, IGA, VSLA officers to provide synergy and complementarity to related interventions  Ensure that cash transfer modalities are in accordance to national regulation  Other assigned duties and responsibilities are effectively accomplished. Experience : Minimum 2-3 years of experience in cash transfers or aid work with strong coordination skills Education
BA or BSc; background in distributions recommended Languages: Excellent command of spoken and written English Computer skills: Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially: Word and Excel Good working knowledge of modern communication systems Personal Skills:  Experience in national representation and coordination.  Excellent IT and report writing skills.  Ability to work in a difficult situation and deal with challenging clinical settings.  Experience working in humanitarian contexts  Creative, flexible and proactive  Willingness to work in the field, with overnight stays  Able to take initiative, self-motivated/independently working  Integrity  Able to perform under high stress in remote areas Job Vacancy: Cash Transfers Officer  Valid Driver’s License, able to ride a motorcycle in rural environment Starting date ASAP Applications for this position should be sent to: Welthungerhilfe is an equal opportunities employer, therefore qualified females are encouraged to apply for this position.
