Description of Job: 
 Deputy Chief of Party (DCOP) – The DCOP will assist the COP in administrative functions including reporting to USAID/Liberia, interacting with senior Government officials, leaders of all beneficiary institutions, non-governmental organizations, the private sector, other donors, and community based groups. The DCOP will primarily work with the Law School. Requirements:  Minimum of seven (7) years of experience working on complex donor-funded rule of law or legal education projects in developing countries, of which at least three (3) years have been in DCOP or equivalent status;  Experience in legal educational capacity building in a common-law country, preferably including institutional sustainability and academic reform;  Significant professional experience in fragile states required; West Africa experience preferred;  JD or equivalent level law degree from an accredited university in a common law country required; and  Fluency in English, fully computer literate with demonstrated excellent oral and written communications and inter-personal skills required.
Description of Company/Organization: 
DAI, a global development consulting firm based in the United States, seeks applications from mid to-senior-level experts for an anticipated five-year, donor-funded rule of law and anti-corruption project in Liberia. The program will support the development of the legal profession through human and institutional capacity development, including training and resource access, providing capacity building, and material support to four of Liberia’s legal education, information, and professional institutions. The project will also build the capacity of the Liberian Anti-Corruption Commission (LACC) and Ministry of Justice prosecutors to improve their capacity to effectively combat and prosecute cases of corruption.
