FED is working closely with a range of partners, including Community Colleges as well as Booker Washington Institute, to build the capacity of the institution in order to have a systematic impact, and better equip the institution to serve their constituency holistically. FED is seeking an IT Vendor who will develop a Flash Website for use by students and Instructors all four USAID FED partner Community Colleges. This will enable these Centers of Excellence to have access to materials on these Flash webpages with or without internet. TASKS: 1. Work closely with FED Extension and IT teams for the development of this website. 2. Train at least 3 staff (one each from FED IT, Extension and Communication unit) who will maintain and have Admin Rights to the website. USAID Liberia’s Food and Enterprise Development (FED) Program is being implemented to achieve the following component objectives: Component 1: Increase agricultural productivity and profitability and improve human nutrition; Component 2: Stimulate private enterprise growth and investment; and Component 3: Build local technical and managerial human resources to sustain and expand accomplishments achieved under objectives one and two.
Requirement: 1. Develop a Flash Website for use by Community Colleges 2. Organize documents, video, movies content 3. Organize and manage general material contents (video, document, power point presentations, etc.) 4. Train at least 2 staff who will maintain and have Admin Rights to the website 5. Make website easily assessable 6. Website should be as user friendly as possible; easily navigated by students and staff of the Community Colleges 7. Should be able to host the site if necessary 8. Entire site and its contents should be hosted on a CD or flash-drive which should be available off-line (i.e. no need for internet to access the pages and documents) Interested applicants are asked to drop off their CVs at the FED Office (6th Street, Sinkor) by Monday, 19 MAY 2014.
