Description of Job: 
The HR & Admin Manager will: • Establish internal HR and Admin procedures for an effective internal control environment and ensure compliance with policies and guidelines • Provide solutions to a wide spectrum of complex HR related issues • Provide day-to-day advice to management and staff on HR and Admin policies and procedures • Manage the HR and the Admin departments, line managing the HO teams and providing technical guidance and supervision to field HR referents. • Implement fair and transparent recruitment and performance evaluation processes which ensure the recruitment, retention and development of suitable staff • Manage payroll of national staff in liaison with Finance team • Build the capacity of managers on aspects of HR management • Promote and ensure compliance with the requirements of Concern’s Programme Participant Protection Policy and the implementation of Humanitarian Accountability Partnership standards Please submit a letter of application stating which position you are applying for and explaining why you are suited for the position, along with a copy of your CV (maximum 4 pages) giving day time contacts, names and addresses of three (3) work related referees with three professional e-mail addresses (Yahoo, Hotmail & Gmail e-mail addresses will not be acceptable), not later than 5:00pm on Monday 23rd November 2015, addressed to the HR Department, Concern Worldwide – Liberia, VP Road, Sinkor, Monrovia, Alternatively, you may send your application by email to liberia.hr@concern.net
Requirements: 
Applicants should ideally hold a Master’s degree in a relevant discipline such as HR Management or Business Management from a recognized University, and at least 8 years progressively senior experience in HR management, ideally in the NGO sector. This role will suit a “people” person with excellent communication skills who is able to interact with all levels of staff. The ideal applicant will have excellent strategic, organisational and team building skills with a good eye for detail.
