Description of Job: 
The project ‘Improving the Inclusion of all children including children with disabilities in mainstream schools in Liberia using an inclusive education approach’ funded by the French Development Agency (AFD) and implemented by Handicap International Federation is looking for a Project Manager.
Responsibilities: • Oversee implementation of Inclusive Education project, management of budget (budget forecasting, development of activity plans, and budget follow-up) and reporting in accordance with Handicap International and donor regulations; • Ensure that monitoring and evaluation systems are developed (including indicator tracking sheets) and implemented for all Inclusive Education project activities, output and effect data are captured in an accurate and efficient manner; • Produce periodic reports according to the agreed deadlines: project monthly, quarterly, annual reports and donor reports; • Manage the Inclusive Education team, providing continuous support and ensuring capacity building of staff; • Support the Liberia Site Coordinator in the design and development of concept notes and proposals for new projects • Ensure that all Inclusive Education interventions are in compliance with the HI Mano River Programme framework and national education policies and plans and with donor’s requirements; • Support partners to promote participatory programming, disability mainstreaming, monitoring, evaluation, and impact reporting; • Collaborate closely with other HI project teams and support service department to ensure synergies and coherence in project implementation; • Build strong relationships with the Ministry of Education and relevant other stakeholders, establishing HI as a key actor in the Education sector in Liberia • Responsible for developing TORs, service contracts and MoUs for all studies, reviews, technical assistant visits, trainings, advocacies, Inclusive Local Actions, and staff exchange visits; • Represent HI in relevant education stakeholder meetings, conferences and seminars both nationally and regionally • Follow up on partners and ensure accountability and credibility of all Inclusive Education project activities; • Develop and/or sustain regular communication and meetings with relevant government agencies, civil society organizations and local authorities in Liberia; Requirements: • Advance University Degree in Education or a related field • Ability to write and read French will be an advantage • Demonstrated experience in the implementation of education projects including policies, curriculum development, teacher trainings, action research, project management, etc • Excellent communication skills, cultural sensitivity, flexibility and a team player; • Strong leadership, staff management, capacity building and facilitation skills • Prior experience working for an INGO; • Willingness and ability to travel to counties; • Good computer skills, especially Microsoft Word and Excel.
