Description of Job: 
We are seeking a full-time Administration and Finance Officer to manage the Administration and Finance operations of the WCF Country Office in Monrovia, based at the FDA Headquarters in Whein Town. The Administration and Finance Officer will be required to assist in overseeing financial, administrative and contractual aspects of projects implemented by the WCF. He/She well help to ensure that all administration, accounting and HR procedures are done in accordance with the WCF regulations and Liberian law.
Requirements: 
GOVERNMENT LIAISON - Manage annual NGO Accreditation, tax clearance, buisness registration - Manage report preparation for various minisitries (Labor, Immigration, Finance, etc) - Manage other requirements for NGOs under Liberian law (Work permits, Residence permits, Re-entry visas, etc.) FINANCIAL - Control petty cash of WCF Liberia Office - Prepare draft monthly accounting reports for WCF Liberia activities - Maintain filing of all receipts and accounting documents - Ensure all receipts and payments made are in accordance with WCF regulation and project regulations - Ensure all expenses made have adequate documentation - Support project financial report preparation - Perform other duties as may be required by Management ADMINISTRATION - Ensure all administrative tasks for WCF projects are completed - Ensure the office supplies and running of office is efficient - Support the procurement of goods and services - Organise national and international travel for staff - Maintain office inventory and monitor field office inventory - Maintain records of leave and attendence of project staff - Monitor vehicle log books - Perform other duties as may be required by Management - Ensure All vehicles of WCF are fully insured annually HR - Prepare monthly payroll documents in time for review by Country Director to ensure payments are made on time - Ensure the payment of taxes and Social security on a timely basis - Prepare staff contracts following Liberian Labor Law for review by Country Director - Perform other duties as may be required by Management - Ensure WCF Staff are insured annually Qualifications / Experience: - Minimum of 2-4 years experience in an Accounting /HR/Finance position (preferably in an NGO) • - University degree or Diploma in Accounting or HR - Good computer skills with excellent knowledge of Excel - Fluency in English (oral and written) - Good knowledge of Liberian Labor law and procedures Deadline for submission: 5th May 2016 Applications (CV and Cover letter with two references) should be sent electronically to dowd@wildchimps.org

WCF has been in operation since 2000 for the conservation of chimpanzees and other biodiversity in West Africa. The WCF has worked on projects in Liberia since 2008 and opened a country representation in 2013. WCF conducts conservation, environmental education, land-use planning, alternative livelihood schemes, ecotourism and research in and around chimpanzee habitats.
