Description of Job: 
We are seeking a full-time Conservation Program Coordinator to support the Country Director of the WCF at the Country Office at the Forestry Development Authority. The Conservation Program assistant will be required to assist in overseeing the coordination between the country office and the field office, liaise with governmental and non-governmental partners; build capacity of governmental and non-governmental partners; support the Country Director in the development of conservation programs and ensure that all administration, accounting and procedures are done in accordance with the WCF regulations and Liberian law.
Requirements: 
- Support the development and coordination of the WCF-Liberia conservation activities in Liberia - Support the Country Director to manage and coordinate WCF-Liberia projects - Support the capacity building of Field Staff members and Project partners - Liaise with government and non-governmental partners to develop project activities and communicate on project progress - Manage WCF files and database and provide to the WCF head office in Germany - Support project reporting and annual reporting on WCF Liberia Activities - Support administrative tasks of the WCF Country Office Minimum of 2-4 years experience in Conservation or Sustainable Management/Development and/or Project management (preferably in an NGO) • - University degree or Diploma in Conservation or a related subject - Good computer skills with excellent knowledge of Excel - Fluency in English (oral and written Applications (CV and Cover letter with two references) should be sent electronically to: dowd@wildchimps.org.

The Wild Chimpanzee Foundation (WCF) is an international NGO established in several countries such as Côte d'Ivoire, Guinea and Liberia. WCF has been in operation since 2000 for the conservation of chimpanzees and other biodiversity in West Africa. The WCF has worked on projects in Liberia since 2008 and opened a country representation in 2013. WCF conducts conservation, environmental education, land- use planning, alternative livelihood schemes, ecotourism and research in and around chimpanzee habitats.
